Coronavirus COVID-19 Statement
As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to evolve we have been further evaluating the risk to the health and safety of our employees and our business and as such, have implemented increased restrictions in terms of our own people, visitors and contractors attending our offices and our engagement within the community, in order to minimise any possible effect on our business.
Whilst we continue to have no confirmed cases within our business, given events are unfolding very quickly globally, we confirm the following measures have been implemented;
- The development of a Coronavirus (COVID-19) Policy, with all employees signing off on agreement to adhere to the Policy. The Policy includes but is not limited to:
- Infection control measures – frequently cleaning hands, coughing and sneezing into elbow and avoiding close contact with people but especially anyone who has a fever or cold.
- Procedures on what to do if you contract the virus, if you have been in contact with a confirmed case of the virus, if you have been in contact with a suspected case of the virus.
- Self-isolation procedure.
- International travel procedures – If you have planned international travel, if you undertake international travel and if you have come into contact with someone who has travelled internationally.
- Any business travel continues to be suspended, with the exception of essential site based travel.
- All staff have been urged to reconsider non-critical travel.
- Where possible face to face meetings will be replaced with phone/Skype.
- Limiting the number of external visitors to our offices.
- All employees have been requested to complete the eLearning course in Infection Control Training – COVID-19 by the Australian Government Department of Health.
We respectfully request that if you are exhibiting any symptoms of a cold or flu you refrain from visiting any of our offices. As per the Commonwealth Government travel restrictions, if you have returned from an interstate or overseas destination we advise you will be unable to visit any of our offices until you have expired a 14 day period from your return date.
Should you be visiting one of our offices, we request you follow the below procedure;
- Please do not enter a Dunbar office if you are experiencing cold or flu like symptoms. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms please report to a Supervisor or Manager immediately.
- Apply hand sanitizer when entering a Dunbar office.
- Use non-physical greetings (avoid hand shaking) and maintain appropriate social distance.
Our priority continues to be on ensuring the safety and well being of our team and minimising longer term disruption. I hope you agree that these measures are a necessity to ensure a safe working environment for all.
