During the school holidays we had to close our indoor pool to the public for one week to repair some water features that were becoming hazardous.

We realised that after a day or so there was an opportunity to carry out some detailed cleaning of our rafters and massive air ducts. This area is impossible to clean during normal operations. We attempted to wash them down using hoses but to no effect.

So on the off chance and at very short notice we contacted Dunbar Services thinking that they would be too busy to even come on site and look at the job.

Not only did John come straight out but he had a crew on site the next day with scissor lifts to reach the duct work which is several metres above the empty pool floor. It was a bit a tricky job as the pool floor sloped in a number of directions.

John’s crew worked into the night to get the bulk of the work done as we were on a pretty tight schedule and when we came in the following day we were delighted with the end result. However, John thought it could be better, so he broke out the spray paint and touched up all of the air louvers.

We were really impressed with the service we received and the attention to detail. As it turned out we finished the project with 2 days to spare.

We have had a long term association with Dunbar Services and they have always delivered but on this particular occasion they went above and beyond.

From first contact to job done it was an efficient and painless exercise from my perspective dealing with you and your team. The guys that came to site went about their business in a professional and controlled manner and we are very happy with the results they have achieved. We used the services of Dunbar for our exhaust and flu cleaning, right from the initial phone call they displayed nothing but professionalism.

1. We were forwarded a quote with a breakdown of all works to be undertaken.
2. We received Job Hazard Analysis before they arrived ( we require these as we work on a BHP controlled site.
3. We received MSDS sheets for all chemicals that would be used whilst they were on site.
4. They sent all there equipment through to site well in advance of them actually arriving , so there was no down time waiting for equipment.
5. It took a few months to get this organised with our client , and scaffolding, Dunbar were extremely patient and very willing to fit in with our movements.
6. When the boys arrived they were well prepared and well-presented and ready to start work.
7. They did the job in a timely very professional manner , not disturbing the staff that were required to work in that area.
8. They did the job in accordance with all BHP and ESS Site Safety Rules.

All in all it was a very easy process to get this job done, the Regional Manager dealt with us from the word go and was constantly in contact to see when we were ready for them to come up to site and get the job done.

I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again when our exhausts and flu’s need to be cleaned.
